Why this exists

I have always been afraid. Afraid to choose. Afraid to fail. Afraid to show. Afraid to start.

I played it safe for years. I told myself others could take the risk. Not me.

Then I met the Stoics. Focus on what you can control. And then Memento Mori — remember you will die. Not as a threat. As the only fact that has ever made anything matter.

I looked in the mirror. My hair was grey. I had not taken a single real risk.

So I drew a skull. And I put time inside its mouth.

This watch says: do what matters, take the risk. Building it required exactly that. I am the proof of concept.

No hands.
Only time, consumed.

The skull sits above the sapphire crystal — not printed on the dial, but sculpted over it. Beneath it, two rotating discs replace the hands: one for the hours, one for the minutes. The movement is a traditional Swiss automatic and the reading stays fully analogue — you simply read it through the open jaw, as if time itself were being eaten.

Questions

Does the watch exist yet?
Not physically. The design is complete, the technical file is done, and a Swiss manufacturer has quoted the production. What is missing is proof that enough people want it. That is what this page is for.
What happens when I reserve?
You join the list, at no cost and with no commitment. You will be contacted first when reservations open, with the early bird price and the reference of your choice.
Why 300 pieces?
It is the minimum production run for a Swiss Made watch of this construction. Below that, the manufacturer cannot produce it. Above that, it stops being a collector's edition.
Is the movement confirmed?
The watch is designed around the La Joux-Perret G100, and that is the movement we want. It is not yet guaranteed: the manufacture reviews and approves each new client, and that decision is theirs. The more reservations this edition gathers, the more weight and credibility the project carries when that conversation happens. If the answer is no, an equivalent Swiss calibre will be used and every reservation holder will be told before anything is charged.
What if the edition is not filled?
Then the watch is not made, and everyone who reserved is told plainly. No money is taken before production is confirmed.
When would it be delivered?
Prototyping takes roughly three months, production four to five more. Realistically, delivery follows about nine months after the edition closes. Every step will be documented publicly.
Who is behind this?
One person. A watch and jewellery designer with twenty years in the Swiss industry, building the object he could not stop thinking about.
